Meet us in beautiful Playa Del Carmen for Brittany Boudreaux’s graduation celebration! Below is a general itinerary of a few things that are planned and could possibly change as we get closer to the date. All activities are optional but are guaranteed to be a lot of fun. Bring comfortable shoes even if you choose to dress up. Playa is a walkable city and most places are within walking distance, including restaurants and bars. Ladies, sub heels for sandals and/or wedges but either way, plan on walking the majority of your stay.

There are abundance of hotels and airbnb’s in the area. There are a few listed below with different price points however if you attempt to do your own search, stay close to Calle 38 if possible.
important info
Please ensure you are arriving at the airport in Cancun, Mexico (CUN). Playa Del Carmen is about 45 minutes away from Cancun and you will be required to arrange a transfer. Your hotel may offer this option however in the event it doesn’t, you can book your own independently. Canada Transfers offers a great service with good rates and large vehicles. There will also be an abundance of Taxi drivers outside the airport gate competing for your business. If you make arrangements beforehand, you can ignore them and find your driver waiting for you outside. They usually are holding up a sign with your name on it.
Make sure you have a valid passport. It is required for travel.
Be sure to download WhatsApp if your phone carrier doesn’t work outside of the country.
Once you arrive into mexico, its a good idea to exchange dollars for pesos in the event you need to use cash. you can do this in the cancun airport. although most places in playa do accept credit/debit cards and there are an abundance of atms, there will be some cases where cash/pesos is only accepted. its important to note that despite the national dollar to peso exchange rate ($1 = $19Mex$), business’ will employ their own exchange rate most of the time and it could slightly vary. its a good idea to ask their rate prior to accepting their services. also, most banks charge exchange rate fees when using your debit cards and withdrawing from their atm’s. its a good idea to check this beforehand so you can plan accordingly.
